what is the raven foundation
The Raven Foundation seeks to promote healing, hope, reconciliation and peace by offering insight into the dynamics of conflict and violence.

The Foundation makes available books, study guides, guest speakers, workshops, downloadable recordings and other resources for use at home, in schools and in the workplace.

inauguration address of the new President 
Barack Obama on the big screen in the 
Raven Foundation conference room in 
Glenview, Illinois. After the speech, share 
your response and join Raven staff members 
for a conversation about hope.

This classic of American theater, co-directed by 
Steppenwolf artists Anna Shapiro and Jessica 
Thebus will be followed by a discussion led by
Rosemary Erickson Johnsen,
author and 
Assistant Professor of English at Governors 
State University.
